Broccoli with Smoked Almonds
1 clove garlic, minced
1/3 cup smoked almonds, chopped into large pieces
2 Tbps diced pimientos
Place broccoli florets in a gallon size ziploc bag & add minced garlic. In a separate, quart size ziploc bag, place chopped almonds & pimientos. Place quart size bag inside gallon size bag, label & freeze.
From frozen, sauté broccoli & garlic in 1 Tbsp olive oil until garlic begins to brown. Add 1/2 cup water & bring to a boil. Add smoked almonds & pimientos. Reduce heat, cover & simmer 3 minutes, or until broccoli reaches desired tenderness and water has evaporated.
