Strawberry Freezer Jam

1 2/3c. prepared strawberries (see below)
2/3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. Instant Pectin

To Prepare Strawberries: Hull, rinse, and crush berries one layer at a time with a potato masher.

Prepare freezer jars by washing and pouring boiling water over jars and lids.

Stir sugar and pectin in a bowl.  Add prepared strawberries and stir for 3 minutes.  Ladle jam into clean, dry jars. Be sure to leave 1/2 inch of space at the top to allow for expansion.  Place lid on and allow to sit for 30 minutes.  Enjoy or place in your freezer for up to 6 months.
