Fruitcake Cookies

1c. Lt brown sugar
3 well beaten eggs
1 tsp baking soda
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. butter
1/2 c. milk (can be as much as a cup)
3/4 lb. raisins
1 lb. sl pineapple, candied
2 c. or 1 lb. dates
1 lb. candied cherries
7 c pecans (optional)


Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and baking soda and other ingredients.

Use part of the flour to flour the fruit.

Drop from a spoon onto a greased pan.

Bake in 300 degree oven for 25 minutes.

Makes 114 large or 160 small cookies.
