Baked Cinnamon Apples

  1 tsp butter
  2 tsp brown sugar
  3 tsp sugar/Splenda
  3 tsp cinnamon
  1 tsp nutmeg
  6 large apples sliced
  2 tsp water

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease a large baking dish with butter.
2.  Mix brown sugar, sugar/Splenda, cinnamon & nutmeg in a small bowl.  Layer about 1/3 of the apples in prepared baking dish.  Sprinkle with 1/3 of the sugar mixture.  Repeat layers twice more.
3.  Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.  Pour water over apples & continue baking until funder, about 15 minutes more.
4.  Allow baked apples to cool, place in a ziploc bag & freeze.  To use, thaw completely & reheat in microwave.
