2 1/2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp  baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1  cup butter (oleo)
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp, vanilla
4 cups Rice Krispies
1 12-oz. pkg choc. chips (or craisins, or both)

Sift together, flour, soda and salt.  Set aside.
Beat butter and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix in flour mixture.
Stir in krispies and chips.
Drop by level tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 about 10 minutes or till lightly browned.
Remove from sheet and cool.
